Tsunami are formed/generated when:
- Earthquake on subduction zone occurs
- Volcanic eruptions underwater
- Volcanic Flank collapse
- Landslides and Rockfalls
- Asteroid Impact
Lake Superior is not really near any subduction zones or volcanoes, BUT a landslide, rockfall or asteroid impact COULD cause a tsunami.
