Penelope the Dog goes to the Zoo

Hello friends!
This past Thursday I took my class' pet, Penelope, joined my family and I on our free trip to the zoo. On this event, I was not simply your blogging friend. I was Miss Hannah. Preschool-mode. I had no reservations about taking pictures with our raggedy stuffed puppy with every exhibit. This is our photo journey.

It's already July.. Where did time go? 




In recent news: 

Sadie the grizzly just chillin on a tree

• Duluth has flooded

Kenai the bear is sleeepy on the hot humid day

• I sent in my article for the journal
• Made progress with the near-lost friendship

• Got a typewriter
• Went to the zoo

"Help I've fallen and I can't get up!"

The article thing was pretty big. I stressed and stressed because I couldn't figure out what to write or how to write it. Then, boom, one night I subscribed to Spotify, made a FUN and FORMAT playlist and out came an article. 

Boyfriend, Stan.

Hung out with my friend yesterday, and for the first time in a few months it felt like we were really friends again. It hurts really bad when you watch a friendship circle the drain, so thank goodness we got it out of the danger zone. 

Standoff

Came home to a nice, old-fashioned (but not OLD OLD fashioned) typewriter last night. It's beautiful, works great, and is in wonderful condition. I'm so excited to be the annoying person in the coffee shop with a typewriter typing out the latest story.

Gibbons were highly active Sunday

We (Jordan, Luke and I) went to the zoo on Sunday. It was crazy hot out but we had a blast! I think my favorite part was the standoff between real boyfriend (Jordan) and the other boyfriend (Komodo Dragon). As much as I hate to admit it, the poisonous saliva might win the battle over me (sorry babe).


Duluth flooded.. major flooded. Not a whole lot to say about it, since I'm not on the hill for the summer. Luckily for us in the cities, the Como Zoo is housing their animals.. so it's pretty cool if you get a chance to check it out.
